Cygnet Pools is searching for a motivated and reliable person for “service technician” position.
This is a Full Time position for the right person who enjoys being outdoors, dealing with customers and wants to work in a supportive team environment. We can offer you a career in the growing Pool and Spa industry, with the opportunity to learn new technologies. You must be customer focused, have the ability to work independently, show initiative and have strong organisational skills which are a prerequisite with this role.
For the right candidate, this role will involve a combination of onsite service and technical tasks through to assisting with sales in the retail shop. This role requires a mature minded, fit and healthy person.
Duties include:
- Clean, maintain and service swimming pools & spas
- Maintain water chemistry of pool and spas
- Perform scheduled maintenance procedures on pool equipment
- Trouble shooting and problem solving
- General pool equipment maintenance and repairs
- Organise and manage stock in work vehicle
- Maintain accurate ongoing service records for each service job
- Occasional rostered Saturday work when required
To be successful in this role, you will also need to:
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and have excellent organisational skills
- Absolute honesty and integrity
- Self motivated with an ability to learn
- Excellent time management skills
- Be punctual and reliable
